They are designed with a valve proximally positioned to the port body, a unique port body design, single and dual port options, and a self-sealing septum.

PASV Valve Technology provides features to aid in positive outcomes for patients requiring venous access.
PASV Safety Valve is a 3-way design that permits fluid infusion and reduce risk of blood reflux into the catheter lumen during increases in central venous pressure that occur with exercise or involuntary responses such as coughing.
The port body is designed to provide a contour that promotes secure seating in the pocket, and incorporates a gentle radius to facilitate flushing and reduce sludge.
Single and dual port options provide an excellent match to varied clinical requirements.
Pre-attached and attachable options allow choice of preferred implantation approach.
Its proximal position is designed to isolate the valve from the bloodstream.
